Fogkit Adventures

Fogkit eyed the exit of the nursery. I am going to do it today. I am going to go outside the nursery! She tottered over to the exit. Looking all around she took her first step out. I wonder who I will meet first!

OOC: Yeah. I will PM you or something about becoming an apprentice.

Branchfern watched her totter out of the nursery, a smile on his face. "Hey little one." He called over to her.

Fogkit jumped then backed up. Then she remembered her manners. "H-hi. I'm Fogkit." She mewed.

Branchfern padded over, a light smile splitting his muzzle. "What are you doing out here?" He sat down.

"Well... I... I wanted to... to to come out...." Fogkit looked up at Branchfern.

Branchfern looked around. "I'll let you have a look around... then we could get out of cap and explore a little. What do you say?" He whispered to her.

"That sounds fun!" Fogkit whispered. I'm glad I came out! I like this warrior. He is fun.

Branchfern nodded. "I'll show you all the places I loved to go as a kit." He trotted around camp. He looked back at Fogkit and smiled, hoping to appear fun to her.

Fogkit followed. "Where are we going first? Is it far? How long will it take to get there?" She bounced as she asked Branchfern.

Branchfern smiled. "Whoa! old on there little one." He trotted halfway out of camp entrance and looked back at her. "You'll find out when we get there."

"Okay! Lead the way!" Fogkit squeaked. This would be her first REAL adventure!

He padded out of camp and reached a beautiful spring. The streams were flowing gracefully between crevices in the earth and wonderful looking plants and flowers were sticking out of the ground.

Fogkit soon followed, panting a little. "Wow!" She gasped. "This place is beautiful!"

He sat on a huge, sprout like plant. "Watch this," He called to her. Soon a large sprout of water burst him into the air. He hovered in the air for a few seconds as the water pushed him up. The water retreated and he fell, landing on a field covered with fluffy white flowers. He laughed and rolled in the delicious smelling plants.

"Woah! Can I do that? Could you help me or hold me while we do it?" She mewed excitedly.

He nodded. "Give it a try! Do you want me to catch you or do you want to land in the flowers?" He knew it would be best if he catches her. He walked close the the plant. "Go ahead! Just count to 5 and jump on when you're ready!"

"Okay!" Fogkit got ready. 1..2...3...4...5! She ran and jump. Soon she was picked up just like Branchfern. "Catch me!" She called as she started to fall towards Branchfern.

Branchfern outstretched his paws, watching her fall. "I got you!"

Fogkit dropped into Branchfern's paws. "That was fun! What are some other places?!" She squeaked. She climbed away from Branchfern then rolled in the flowers.

Branchfern stood. "Oh, lots! I could show you the waterfall!" He smiled.

"A waterfall! Let's go!" Fogkit mewed. This will be one of the best days ever!

He nudged her playfully and trotted down the path, looking back at Fogkit every so often.

Fogkit followed. She had a burst of speed from all the excitement. "This is WAY better that sitting in the nursery!"

Branchfern nodded. "Oh yeah, of course! That stuffy small den is nothing compared to this wide, open vast, amazing land!" Soon he heard water falling. "Over here!" He ran over to the sound of water.

Fogkit ran beside Branchfern. "I like you. You are cool!" Fogkit said. She didn't care for many cats, not that she got out much.

Branchfern smiled. "Ad I like you. You're one fun kit!" He looked up at the huge waterfall, almost falling back. "Here it is!" He exclaimed. "I've always wanted to climb up and jump down the cliff."

"I would be too scared to do that!" Fogkit mewed. "Look at all the mist!"

He looked around. "Yeah! I come here all the time to clear my mind!" He climbs all the way to the top of a cliff and in over five minutes, he pops up in the distance at the top. "I'M GONNA JUMP!!!" He calls to Fogkit.

"Okay!" She watched and waited to see him jump and splash in the water.

Branchfern leaps down the cliff and forms into a ball, spinning in the air. "WOO HOO HOO HOOOO!!!!!!!" He splashes in the water and swims over to the shore.

Fogkit watched in awe. "That was amazing!" She squeaked when he came to the shore.

He wiped water from his face with his paw and jumped onto the land, shaking water off his pelt. "Thanks! That was SO AWEOSMEEE!!! I've never done that before!" He laughs and grooms his paw. "That water is really warm!"

"Do you think it would be okay if I stood in the water?" She asked,tilting her head.

He tilted his head. "Hmm... sure. What are you gonna do?"

"I just want to stand. Maybe swim." Fogkit even though she was curious she was still a cautious kit.

Branchfern stepped aside. "Go ahead! Any pal that swims is a friend of mine!" He smiled. "Be careful."

Fogkit nodded. She stepped into the water then jumped in. The water splashed. She padded her legs and reached Branchfern on the shore. "What did you think of that!"

He smiled and nodded. "Great! You really looked professional with that jump!" He smiled wide.

"Thanks! Should we get going?" She asked looking around her surroundings.

He nodded, licking some water off a paw. "If you want we can get a snack back at camp and explore some more later."

Fogkit yawned. She was tired. "Yeah. Could that be a snack and a nap?" She was ready to follow Branchfern back to camp or even be carried back of she got too tired.

He nodded. "Sure." Noticing how tired she was, he swooped her up by the scruff and trotted back to camp with her.

After a good nap Fogkit looked around camp in search for Branchfern.

Branchfern was resting in camp. He looked over at Fogkit. "Hey!" He called over to her, saving her a spot and a mouse.

Fogkit ran over. "Hi! Ooh! Mouse." She took a large bite for her little mouth. While chewing she asked, "Are we going to explore some more?"

Branchfern smiled. "Oh yeah! Where would you like to go?" He asked with a smile. He took a bite from the small thrush he had in front of him.
